AMMAN — More than 1.2 million people used Jordan's border crossings in 2022, Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya said during the Ideal Employee Award ceremony for 2022 in the Balqa Governorate. اضافة اعلان

Faraya emphasized the country's safety and stability, highlighting its advantages such as its infrastructure of hospitals, schools, roads, bridges, electricity, and water.

He added that there are many seeking Jordanian residence, nationality, or passports, especially from Arab countries. “This is the biggest evidence that we live in a safe and stable country."

Honoring public employeesDuring the ceremony, the minister also stressed the importance of honoring public employees, saying that they represent the face of the state.

Faraya stated that when public employees perform their duties to the fullest, citizens become satisfied with their institutions and state.

Balqa Governor Firas Abu Qaoud spoke at the ceremony about the Ideal Employee Award from the Civil Service Bureau, saying it aims to motivate employees with outstanding performance to create competent leadership and encourage competitiveness.

The award, he said, seeks to encourage employees to develop their skills, knowledge, and positive attitudes to improve work efficiency, productivity, and provide distinguished services that befit citizens through healthy competition.

The Ideal Employee award was established in 2007 in compliance with His Majesty King Abdullah's vision.
