The national team is aiming to win the title for the first time in its history, following a series of impressive performances in recent matches. Jordan has never won the Arab Cup nor reached the final, making this a historic opportunity for “Al-Nashama” to claim the championship.

On Wednesday, the team held its final training session under the guidance of Moroccan coach Jamal Salami in preparation for selecting the ideal lineup for this landmark final.

The team enjoys strong official and popular support, as well as enthusiastic backing from the Jordanian fans present in Qatar, providing a significant morale boost to achieve the historic title.

Jordan reached the final after topping Group C with a perfect nine points, following victories over the UAE (2-1), Kuwait (3-1), and Egypt (3-0). They then defeated Iraq 1-0 in the quarterfinals and Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the semifinals to secure their spot in the final.

By reaching the final, the national team has already secured around $4 million, with the potential prize increasing to approximately $7 million if they win the title.

The total prize pool for the 2025 Arab Cup is estimated at around $36 million.
