Fuhais beats Orthodox Club, claims first seed in Women’s Premier League

AMMAN — Shabab Al-Fuhais now leads the standings in the first round of the Women’s Basketball Premier League after defeating the Orthodox Club 71–59 on Sunday at Al-Fuhais Hall. اضافة اعلان

In another match held in the same hall, the Jordanian U18 Women’s national team achieved its first victory in the league by defeating the Al-Riyadi Aramex Club team 69–63.

Fuhais tops the  scoreboard with six points, followed by the Orthodox Club with  five points. Third and fourth places belong to  the U18 National Women’s team with four points and Al-Riyadi Aramex with three points.

The league’s second round will start with two matches on Tuesday, where the Orthodox will play the U18 National Women’s team in the Orthodox Hall at 6pm, and Fuhais will play Al-Riyadi Aramex at Al-Fuhais Hall at 7pm.
