Al-Jazeera Club's management received the final installment of the financial dues owed by Al-Wehdat Club over the past few days, related to the transfer of former player Amer Jammous to Al-Wehdat's squad in an earlier period, closing out part of the club's financial files tied to its players' transfers.

Al-Ghad has learned that Al-Jazeera recently received the final payment of Jammous's transfer fee, worth around 15,000 dinars, after Al-Wehdat's management settled the amount owed to the club, in line with the financial arrangements agreed between the two parties.
This payment is expected to help Al-Jazeera cover part of its outstanding financial obligations, as the current management works to put its finances in order and resolve a number of pending issues. The club's management had, over the past period, carried out financial settlements with a number of former players and coaches, as part of a plan aimed at settling the club's outstanding dues and strengthening financial and administrative stability, allowing management to focus more closely on the first team's needs and upcoming commitments.
Jammous had moved to Al-Wehdat in February 2023, arriving from Al-Jazeera on loan, before his contract was later purchased outright from his parent club, allowing him to continue his career with the Green team. He currently holds a contract with Al-Wehdat running through the summer of 2027.
Last July, Jammous moved on loan to Iraq's Erbil Club from Al-Wehdat, following an earlier loan spell with Iraq's Al-Zawraa Club, continuing his professional career outside Jordanian football.
Jammous is one of Al-Jazeera's own products, having come up through the club's youth ranks before breaking into the first team during the 2020 season. During that period, he delivered standout performances with the "Red Devils," drawing the attention and interest of several clubs, before later moving to Al-Wehdat to pursue new experiences abroad.
Jammous has also represented Jordan at various youth national team levels before reaching the senior national team, where he has been among the names representing "the Nashama" in recent years, contributing to the historic achievement of Jordan's first-ever World Cup qualification. He has also previously represented the national team at the U-16 and U-23 levels.
Financial Bonuses
Separately, sources within Al-Jazeera Club confirmed that the club's management is moving to pay out financial bonuses to the first team's football players, in recognition of the strong level of performance and the result the team achieved at the start of its Pro League campaign, following a resounding 5-0 win over Al-Hussein Irbid.
The sources noted that the club's management appreciates the effort put in by the players and coaching staff during the match, and is looking to motivate the team to keep up positive results in upcoming rounds, especially since a strong start could give the players a significant morale boost in the race for top positions in the standings.
Before the football season began, Al-Jazeera's management had set a clear goal for the first team: competing for one of the top four spots in the Pro League standings, reflecting the club's desire to reclaim its place among the leading teams, after recent years marked by a decline in results and competitiveness.
Al-Jazeera's management hopes the big win over Al-Hussein Irbid will mark a strong start for the team this season under head coach Raed Al-Dawoud, and that the players will build on this result in the tournament's upcoming matches, in line with the ambitions set by the club's management.
It's worth noting that Al-Jazeera was among the clubs that were slow to complete their first-team squad ahead of the football season, before management later succeeded in closing a number of good deals that helped strengthen the team's roster and improve its readiness, whether through signing local players or foreign professionals, bolstering the team's ambitions.
