The event aimed to raise awareness among employees about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer, highlight available support mechanisms for patients, and promote a culture of health and wellness in the workplace.

The activities included an interactive session presented by a doctor from the King Hussein Cancer Center, alongside a number of breast cancer survivors, who shared their inspiring stories and personal journeys with the disease. The survivors encouraged female colleagues to make annual early screening a regular practice.

During the event, the bank hosted “Dukkan Al-Khair” (Goodness Shop), an initiative by the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, offering a variety of gifts for different occasions, with proceeds dedicated to supporting underprivileged adult and pediatric cancer patients. A special booth was also featured, displaying handmade foods, sweets, and crafts created by survivors, with proceeds directed toward supporting them — reinforcing employee participation in the bank’s efforts to help achieve the Foundation’s goals in fighting cancer.

This initiative is one of the bank’s sustainable programs within its long-term, multi-faceted partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, and forms part of its broader employee health and well-being initiatives, recognizing that health is a cornerstone of development and a foundation for improving quality of life.

The event also reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting its female employees, recognizing their vital role in enhancing banking and financial performance, advancing the bank’s development, and contributing meaningfully to community building.
