As part of this collaboration, the bank and the foundation recently met with a number of students benefiting from university scholarships this year to celebrate their academic achievements across various Jordanian universities. To date, 74 students have benefited from scholarships provided by Housing Bank through the foundation, helping create a supportive environment that enables them to continue and complete their university education.
The gathering provided an opportunity to follow up on the students’ academic progress, learn more about their educational experiences, and offer encouragement and support. It also served to strengthen direct communication channels, helping ensure that any challenges they encounter throughout their university journey can be effectively addressed.
Housing Bank’s support under this long-standing partnership extends beyond scholarship funding. It includes sponsorship of the “Hope Gala” fundraiser, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the foundation’s mission, as well as backing the “Siwar Al Hussein Volunteering Program” and comprehensive care initiatives designed to meet the financial and social needs of patients affected by cancer and its treatment.
These joint efforts reflect the health and education pillars of “Imkan by Iskan,” Housing Bank’s umbrella program for social responsibility and sustainable development. Through this program, the bank continues to implement initiatives that create meaningful and lasting impact across the areas of environment, health, education, and social empowerment.
