According to official data from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the total number of hotel accommodation establishments in Jordan reached 933.اضافة اعلان

The data shows that these establishments employ 22,900 workers, 12.4% of whom are women and 87.6% men, the majority being Jordanians, with non-Jordanians representing 16% of the workforce. Across the entire tourism sector, the total number of workers reaches 59,775.

These establishments collectively offer 68,276 beds and 36,667 rooms.

The Ministry noted that the hotel accommodation data is updated until September 2025, while room and bed occupancy data is updated through January 2026.

Regarding occupancy rates, the average room occupancy rate last year was 31.5%, while bed occupancy averaged 32.1%.

The Ministry defines accommodation establishments as facilities providing lodging services to visitors (hotels, hotel apartments, hotel suites, camps, inns, guesthouses, etc.), while tourism establishments include facilities offering services to visitors such as hotels, restaurants, travel and tourism offices, shops, and similar venues.
