Global prices of petroleum products declined during the first week of the current month compared with their levels in December, according to the weekly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the bulletin, the price of Octane 95 gasoline fell from USD 661 to USD 613 per ton, a decrease of 7.3%. Octane 90 gasoline declined from USD 645 to USD 600 per ton, down 7.0%. The average price of diesel dropped from USD 587 to USD 559 per ton, a decrease of 4.8%, while the average price of kerosene fell from USD 645 to USD 618 per ton, down 4.2%.
Meanwhile, the average price of fuel oil rose slightly from USD 337 to USD 338 per ton, an increase of 0.3%, and the average price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased from USD 488 to USD 520 per ton, up 6.6%. In contrast, the average price of Brent crude declined from USD 63 to USD 62 per barrel, a decrease of 1.6%.
