Zelenskyy Seeks Stronger Chinese Role in Ending War

In a post on X, Zelenskyy said, “Peace can be our shared achievement,” while thanking Chinese President Xi Jinping for congratulating him on Ukraine’s Independence Day.

The Russia-Ukraine war, which began on February 24, 2022, continues to face difficulties in reaching a comprehensive political settlement, with military operations and attacks by both sides ongoing amid intermittent diplomatic efforts by several international actors to end the fighting.
