At least 31 people were killed and dozens injured after Russia and Ukraine carried out reciprocal overnight missile and drone strikes, authorities in both countries said Saturday, as the two sides intensify their long-range attacks on civilian infrastructure.

Death Toll
In Ukraine, Kyiv Region Governor Tymur Tkachenko said in a Telegram post that at least 27 people were killed and 42 others injured.
Tkachenko said more than 380 people were being evacuated from Bucha, which came under attack.
In Russia, authorities in the Belgorod region said via Telegram that three people were killed and nine others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack. Three of the injured were reported to be in serious condition.
Meanwhile, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said one person was killed and three others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack overnight.
“Twenty-six drones were shot down... A man was killed in the enemy attack... According to preliminary information, three others were injured,” Razvozhayev wrote on the Russian social media platform MAX.
Russian Strikes
The Russian military said it targeted the Vym Service logistics center in Kyiv, which it said was used to store components for cruise missiles, as well as a logistics center containing a customs facility for distributing military shipments arriving from Western countries and an ammunition depot.
The statement added that the strikes also targeted fuel tanker unloading areas at the Port of Izmail, a transshipment facility at the Port of Mykolaiv, as well as logistics centers and military and fuel storage facilities.
According to the statement, the attack was carried out using precision-guided weapons launched from the air, along with drones.
The war between Moscow and Kyiv began in February 2022, and both sides have increasingly intensified their long-range strikes against a range of targets.
