The US acknowledges killing ten civilians in a drone in late August

AMMAN — General Frank McKenzie, the head of the US Central Command, acknowledged and held himself accountable for the US drone raid in  Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, killing ten civilians in August, Petra Jordan News Agency reported.اضافة اعلان

McKenzie said on Friday, “the US raid carried out in Kabul on 28 August was a tragic mistake that killed civilians. Thereby, we are sincerely sorry, and I bear full responsibility for my mistake.”  

McKenzie indicated that “the raid targeted ISIS, but instead it killed ten civilians, including seven children.”
