Iran partially reopened its airspace on Saturday for international transit flights passing through its eastern regions, according to the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization.

The authority stated that air corridors in the eastern part of Iranian airspace are now open to international overflights, adding that some airports were also reopened at 7:00 a.m.
More than three hours after the announcement, flight-tracking websites showed no international flights crossing Iranian airspace, while others opted for longer alternative routes to avoid it.
