Foreign Minister Enrique Reina, in a statement posted on his Twitter account yesterday, said, "Given the severe humanitarian crisis affecting Palestinian civilians in Gaza, President Xiomara Castro's government has decided to immediately recall the Ambassador of the Republic of Honduras to Israel for consultations."

This decision follows similar actions taken by other countries earlier in the week. Chile and Colombia have also recalled their ambassadors to Israel regarding the aggression in Gaza, while Bolivia has moved to sever diplomatic relations with Israel.
