Today, Tuesday, extremist Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque – Al-Haram Al-Sharif – in occupied Jerusalem, entering through the Moroccan Gate under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.

In a statement, the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers entered the mosque compound, carried out provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals near the Bab al-Rahma (Gate of Mercy) area on the eastern side of the mosque.
The Israeli police intensified their restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers, inspecting their IDs and confiscating some at the outer gates of the mosque.
Meanwhile, Jerusalemite calls continue to urge Muslims to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to counter the ongoing settler incursions and Israeli Judaization plans.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily violations and incursions by settlers, except on Fridays and Saturdays, under the protection of Israeli forces, in an apparent attempt to impose full control over the site and enforce a temporal and spatial division of the mosque.
