EU calls for an immediate end to violence in the Middle East

AMMAN — The EU has called for an end to the ongoing escalation of violence in the Middle East, according to a statement made by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. اضافة اعلان

The EuroNews agency reported Borrell's statement, in which he emphasized the urgent need for an immediate cessation of violence and all efforts to prevent further conflict.

The recent escalation of violence follows days of tension, notably with Israeli forces violently raiding the Al-Aqsa mosque and using force against worshipers.

Borrell added that the EU condemns the violent events that have taken place in holy places and stressed the need to maintain the current situation in all of them.
