In a statement Thursday, the parliament said this position continues the Kingdom’s stances to support the Palestinian people and their cause, especially in their current crisis and Israel's genocidal war, crimes and massacres in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The parliament affirmed its support for Jordan's position and the Arab positions that "completely" reject dealing with the Gaza Strip separately from the occupied Palestinian territories.
Additionally, the parliament stressed the necessity of reaching an "immediate and permanent" ceasefire and holding Israel's war criminals accountable for their crimes.
The parliament also referred to Safadi's call for launching a broad plan to reach a just, comprehensive and lasting peace, based on the two-state solution and establishment of an independent Palestinian state with the city of Jerusalem as its capital, as the only way to achieve security and stability in the region.
