In its report, the Jordan Meteorological Department warns of the dangers of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours, and of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust in desert regions, with occasional total loss of visibility on external roads. It also urges the public not to leave children inside closed vehicles even for short periods, to avoid leaving campfire remnants or cigarette butts in forested areas, to refrain from leaving flammable materials inside vehicles, and to drink plenty of fluids, especially water.

On Friday, the heatwave’s impact on the Kingdom will ease slightly, with a minor drop in temperatures and generally hot weather expected. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, occasionally active and dust-raising, particularly in desert areas.

By Saturday, God willing, the heatwave will subside, and temperatures will drop to approach seasonal averages. The weather will be typical summer conditions over the highlands and plains, and relatively hot in the desert regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will remain northwesterly, moderate, and active at times.

On Sunday, another slight drop in temperatures is expected. Weather will be typical summer conditions in most areas, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low-altitude clouds appearing. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate, and active at times.
