The updated system allows for faster and more precise verification of participants' information, improving the registration experience from the outset and streamlining the regulatory procedures behind the association's races.
Run Jordan announced the upgrade alongside the opening of registration for the Bromine Amman Marathon 2026, scheduled for Friday, October 2. The association is inviting runners to sign up for what has become one of the Kingdom's most prominent annual sporting events.
This year's registration opens with the Amman Marathon carrying international racing classification, an achievement that strengthens its standing on the global running calendar and reflects Run Jordan's continued efforts to develop the event to international standards and raise its organizational and technical level.
Lina Kurd, general manager of Run Jordan, said the upgraded registration system marks an important step in the association's push to digitize its operations and offer runners a simpler, more efficient experience. She noted that linking the system to the Civil Status and Passports Department strengthens data accuracy and improves the association's regulatory processes.
Kurd thanked the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship for its cooperation and support in completing the integration, saying the partnership reflects the importance of coordination between national institutions in developing digital services and using technology to improve services for citizens.
Kurd added that the Amman Marathon's international classification marks an important milestone for the race and gives the 2026 edition particular significance. She said Run Jordan looks forward to welcoming runners from Jordan and abroad on October 2 for what she described as a sporting experience that reflects the growth of running in the Kingdom.
Run Jordan called on anyone interested in taking part to register and prepare for the Bromine Amman Marathon 2026, saying it remains committed to developing its race portfolio and strengthening Jordan's presence on the regional and international running map.
