Italian Flavio Cobolli, world No. 10, advanced to the third round of the men's singles at the Cincinnati Open—an ATP Masters 1000 event—after a hard-fought victory over Serbia's Miomir Kecmanović on Saturday.

Cobolli claimed the three-set clash 6-1, 4-6, 6-3, bringing an end to a three-match losing streak.
The Italian maintained his upper hand over Kecmanović for the third time this year, recording his 28th win of 2026 and his first victory at Cincinnati in two years.
Cobolli will face Belgium's Alexander Blockx in the next round. Blockx advanced after defeating Argentina's Mariano Navone in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
In other action, Paraguay's Adolfo Daniel Vallejo defeated Valentin Vacherot of Monaco in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
Meanwhile, Spain's Martín Landaluce advanced after overcoming Italy's Matteo Arnaldi in a three-set battle, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
Total prize money for the Cincinnati Open stands at $9,415,725.
