AMMAN — The Royal Film Commission
(
RFC) will host a free showing of a feature-length documentary called “Gaza”
(2019) tonight.

The open-air showing will take place at 8pm,
but doors will open at 7pm and the RFC encourages guests to arrive by 7:30pm to
abide by all COVID-19 safety measures. The RFC is located in Jabal Amman near
the first circle.
Guests will be asked to show their
COVID-19 vaccination certificates to enter, and they must be either fully vaccinated or
have received the first dose of the vaccine 21 days prior. Guests must also
wear masks to attend.
The documentary will be shown in Arabic and
English with English subtitles. The film, directed by Irish filmmakers Garry
Keane and Andrew McConnell, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019. It
highlights the unique human stories of Palestinians living under heavy
blockades in the Gaza strip.
