The foundation said in a statement on Tuesday that it will provide these grants through the Qatar Scholarship Program and in partnership with the Luminos Technical University College in Jordan, in addition to another partnership contract with the American University of Beirut to support 400 youth in obtaining a university degree in Lebanon.

Fund director Khalifa Jassim Al-Kuwari said that supporting education is at the fore of human development for societies around the world and that it empowers young people to be able to build a society that achieves justice, peace, and development.

For his part, Fahad Al-Sulaiti from Education Above All Foundation affirmed the institution’s commitment to its mission of increasing educational opportunities despite the challenges the world is currently witnessing, especially for students from marginalized backgrounds, noting that Jordan faces complex challenges resulting from the economic effects of the pandemic.

He added: "Through this new partnership, the foundation aims to enable the next generation of students in the countries of the region to continue their education despite all challenges."
