JHCO, KSRelief wind down food distribution project

The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), recently completed the distribution of 16,550 food baskets during the month of Ramadan to underprivileged families in Palestine.اضافة اعلان

In a statement issued Wednesday, the JHCO said that they worked with local Palestinian associations and civil society institutions to select beneficiaries. 

JHCO secretary general, Hussein Shibli, said the food baskets consisted of 14 basic food items that cover families’ needs during Ramadan.

KSRelief director in Jordan, Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al-Hazim, said that the organization spared no effort to provide aid, adding that the cost of the relief project amounted to $1 million.
