AMMAN— On Saturday, the Director General of Jordan Free and Development Zones Group
(ZFZ) Abdul Hamid Gharaibeh met with president of the Hashemite University, Fawwaz
Al-Abed Al-Haq, to discuss establishing a business incubator for the local
community, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

According to
a statement issued by the ZFZ, the incubator aims to create job and training
opportunities for society, as well as provide them with the expertise and
consultations it needs.
Both parties
agreed to build on possible investment ideas for the incubator, including
studies on exporting services, provided that the university conducts the
necessary research and the ZFZ works on the operational aspect of the project.
Gharaibeh
commended the university’s role in serving the local community and the national
economy and expressed his willingness for signing a mutual agreement regarding
the incubator soon.
