AMMAN — Outbound shipments by clothing and textile
manufacturers in Irbid sent the northern governorate’s total exports in January
to $101 million, marking a 16.4-percent increase compared with the figure
reported in the same month of 2021.

said Wednesday most of the monthly exports originated from the Al-Hassan
Industrial Estate, accounting for a major JD92 million of the total, followed
by exports from the Cyber City at $2.3 million, according to the Jordan News
Agency, Petra.
He explained that garments exports amounted to $92 million,
foodstuffs to $2.7 million, and pharmaceuticals to $2.6 million. About $73
million in goods was exported to the US, $8.5 million to Europe, and $7.3
million to Arab countries.
