Asian Stocks Mostly Decline Following Wall Street Pullback

Most Asian stock indices fell on Tuesday, following a retreat on Wall Street from record highs, while U.S. futures showed slight gains.

Shanghai Composite (China): slipped 0.1% to 3,918.83.

KOSPI (South Korea): fell 0.3% to 4,140.44.

TAIEX (Taiwan): declined 0.5%.

S&P/ASX 200 (Australia): dropped 0.2% to 8,607.80, after the Reserve Bank of Australia kept the interest rate unchanged at 3.6%.

Nikkei 225 (Japan) bucked the regional trend, rising 0.2% to 50,691.39 points.
