The total number of hotel accommodation establishments in Jordan reached 908 last year, according to official data issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
The data show that these establishments employed 22,943 workers, of whom 12.2% were female and 87.8% male. The majority are Jordanians, while non-Jordanians account for 15% of the workforce.
According to the figures, hotel accommodation establishments in the Kingdom provide a total of 68,932 beds and 38,568 rooms.
The ministry noted that the data related to hotel accommodation are updated through December 2025.
A comparison between 2025 and 2024 indicates a slight decline in the number of establishments, from 918 in 2024 to 908 last year. However, despite the decrease in the number of establishments, employment in the sector increased.
The workforce rose from 22,506 employees in 2024 to 22,943 in 2025, marking an increase of 1.9%.
A hotel accommodation establishment is defined as any facility that provides lodging services to visitors, including hotels, hotel apartments, hotel suites, camps, lodges, guesthouses, and similar facilities.
