Hussein Shreim, President of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, announced that the value of the city’s commercial exports (re-exports) in August 2025 reached JD 39.5 million, based on the certificates of origin issued by the Chamber and its office in the Free Zone, totaling 337 certificates.

Shreim explained that automobiles and spare parts accounted for the largest share of Zarqa’s commercial exports, alongside construction materials and sanitary tools, pharmaceuticals and related supplies, food products, clothing and jewelry, electrical and electronic devices, as well as home and office furniture and stationery.
He noted that the export value in August showed a significant decline compared to July 2025, which totaled JD 48.5 million, and also fell below the August 2024 figure of JD 48 million.
