World Bank to discontinue Doing Business Report

WASHINGTON, United States  –  The World Bank Group announced on Sunday that data irregularities had been reported internally  on Doing Business 2018 and 2020 reports .اضافة اعلان

An internal investigation raised ethical issues, including  the conduct of former board officials, as well as current and/or former bank staff. Management reported the allegations to the bank’s appropriate internal accountability mechanisms.

The bank’s board of executive directors and World Bank Group management have taken the decision to discontinue the Doing Business Report after reviewing all the information relating to the report , including the findings of past reviews audits and an internal investigation.
