A high-ranking Iranian source stated on Saturday that the United States has agreed to release frozen Iranian assets held in Qatar and other foreign banks. The source, who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter, told Reuters that the unfreezing of the assets is "directly linked to ensuring safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz," which is expected to be a primary issue in the negotiations.
