Sales of apartments between 120 and 150 m² rise 7% in the first half of the year

The number of apartments sold in Jordan during June rose by 12% to reach 2,990 apartments, compared to 2,659 apartments during the same month in 2025, according to a report by the Department of Lands and Survey.اضافة اعلان

The report, showed that the increase covered all size categories during June. Sales of apartments larger than 150 square meters rose by 20% to reach 1,451 apartments, compared to 1,211 apartments in June 2025.

Sales of apartments ranging between 120 and 150 square meters also increased by 30% during June, reaching 867 apartments compared to 665 apartments in the same month of 2025.

Meanwhile, sales of apartments smaller than 120 square meters recorded an 8% increase, reaching 875 apartments compared to 808 apartments in June 2025.

For the first half of 2026, the total number of apartments sold in the Kingdom reached 15,533, compared to 16,410 during the same period in 2025—a 5% decrease.

By size, sales of apartments larger than 150 square meters fell by 1% during the first half of the year to 7,349 apartments, compared to 7,412 during the same period in 2025.

In contrast, sales of apartments ranging between 120 and 150 square meters rose by 7% during the first half, reaching 4,479 apartments compared to 4,197 during the same period last year.

As for apartments smaller than 120 square meters, sales fell by 4% during the first half of 2026 to 4,681 apartments, compared to 4,853 during the same period in 2025.

The Cabinet had issued a decision on November 12, 2024, exempting residential apartments larger than 150 square meters from 50% of registration fees, in addition to a previous decision granting a 100% registration fee exemption for apartments smaller than 150 square meters.

Real estate transaction data showed that total real estate sales in the Kingdom during the first half of 2026 reached 62,023 properties, an 8% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. This included 15,533 apartments and 46,490 plots of land.

During June, total real estate transactions in the Kingdom reached 11,884 properties, an increase of 12% compared to the same month in 2025 and 13% compared to the previous month. These were distributed between 2,990 apartments and 8,894 plots of land.

June sales in the capital governorate consisted of 2,073 apartments and 2,718 plots of land, while sales in the remaining governorates included 917 apartments and 6,176 plots of land.

The trading volume in the real estate market during the first half of 2026 reached approximately 3.042 billion dinars, a 3% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, the trading volume during June reached 584.337 million dinars, a 7% increase compared to the same month in 2025 and a 23% increase compared to the previous month.
