Estimated value of non-Jordanian property ownership transactions jumps 145% during June.
Real estate sales in the Kingdom rose by 12% last June compared to the same month in 2025, and by 13% compared to the preceding month of May. The number of properties sold during the month reached 11,884, according to a report by the Department of Lands and Survey.
The monthly report data showed that apartment sales rose during June by 12% compared to the same period in 2025, and by 13% compared to the previous month. Land sales also rose by 12% compared to the same month in 2025, and by 13% compared to the previous month.
The trading volume in the Kingdom's real estate market during June reached 584.336 million dinars, up by 7% compared to the same month in 2025, and by 23% compared to the previous month.
Revenues during June also increased by 39% compared to the same month in 2025, and by 28% compared to the previous month, reaching 24.207 million dinars.
At the level of the first half of 2026, the real estate market trading volume reached 3.042 billion dinars, a decrease of 3% compared to the same period in 2025.
Conversely, revenues during the first half of the year rose by 5% compared to the same period in 2025, amounting to 128.864 million dinars.
The data indicated an 8% decline in real estate sales in the Kingdom during the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. Apartment sales fell by 5%, and land sales dropped by 9%, while total properties sold reached 62,023.
The total number of properties sold to companies in the Kingdom during the first half of this year reached 4,633.
Regarding property ownership by non-Jordanians, ownership transactions decreased by 6% during the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2025, with apartment transactions rising by 5%, against a 19% decline in land transactions.
During the month of June, non-Jordanian ownership transactions rose by 27% compared to the same month in 2025, and by 7% compared to the previous month. Apartment transactions increased by 43% compared to June 2025, and by 3% compared to the previous month. Land transactions also rose by 6% compared to the same month in 2025, and by 14% compared to the previous month.
Furthermore, the estimated value of non-Jordanian ownership transactions during the first half of 2026 rose by 10% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 100 million dinars.
The estimated value of non-Jordanian ownership transactions during June recorded a significant increase of 145% compared to the same month in 2025, and by 24% compared to the previous month, reaching 24.311 million dinars.
Ownership statistics showed that the percentage of male owners reached 64.95%, compared to 35.05% for female owners.
