AMMAN — The Securities Depository Center (SDC) has announced a new digital feature integrated into the "Sanad" government application, allowing Jordanian individuals to directly access and view their securities ownership.

This feature enables users to view real-time, updated data on their shareholdings directly through the app without the need for additional requests or administrative procedures. Users can securely access their investment details simply by logging into their authenticated "Sanad" accounts.
Digital Integration and National Strategy
Launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, this initiative follows the completion of all necessary technical requirements. The move is part of a broader effort to integrate the SDC’s database with the national digital identity and electronic verification ecosystem.
By providing a reliable interface within the "Sanad" app, the SDC aims to enhance citizens' access to their financial data. This aligns with Jordan’s national digital transformation goals and reinforces the SDC's role as a cornerstone of the capital market’s infrastructure.
Security and Investor Empowerment
Sarah Tarawneh, CEO of the Securities Depository Center, emphasized that this feature is a significant step in empowering investors. She explained that the system relies on a direct link to the SDC’s databases, coupled with the high-security verification services of the digital identity platform, ensuring the utmost accuracy and data protection.
Tarawneh further noted that the SDC continues to modernize its digital offerings in line with international best practices. She recalled the 2024 launch of the updated "E-Portfolio" app, a comprehensive digital platform that allows investors to track their holdings, account details, and transaction history within a secure environment.
The Securities Depository Center reaffirmed its commitment to developing innovative digital solutions that enhance the efficiency and transparency of the Jordanian capital market while enriching the digital experience for investors.
