Amman — The volume of real estate trading in the Kingdom reached approximately JD 513 million by the end of last January, marking a 6% decline compared to the same month in 2025.

According to the monthly report of the Department of Lands and Survey, revenue for the same month increased by 1% year-on-year, reaching around JD 26 million.
The report showed a 21% decrease in real estate sales activity during the period. Apartment sales declined by 16%, while land sales fell by 23%, compared with the same period in 2025.
The total number of contracts and properties sold to companies in January reached 705 properties.
Transactions involving non-Jordanian ownership declined by 1% during the same month compared to January 2025. However, apartment sales to non-Jordanians rose by 11%, while land sales decreased by 15% compared to the same month last year.
