Russia: Oil Production Falls at Fastest Pace in 18 Months

The Russian government announced on Friday that the country’s crude oil production declined in December at the fastest pace in 18 months, citing the tightening of Western sanctions as the main reason for the drop.اضافة اعلان

State-owned Rosneft said in a press statement: “Russia’s average crude oil production fell by more than 100,000 barrels per day month-on-month, reaching 9.32 million barrels per day in December. This represents the largest decline since mid-2024.”
