The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources launched on Thursday an awareness campaign for energy conservation under the slogan "A Smarter Generation, More Efficient Energy, A Stronger Jordan." The launch coincides with the Arab Energy Efficiency Day, celebrated annually on May 21st.

This campaign aligns with the Ministry's strategic objective aimed at improving energy efficiency across various sectors by raising awareness on the importance of rationalizing consumption and embedding a culture of optimal energy use among members of society.
The Ministry emphasized its keenness to engage diverse segments of society—particularly youth and university students throughout the Kingdom—viewing them as the builders of the future and essential partners in spreading awareness and achieving sustainability.
The campaign features a comprehensive set of awareness activities, including designing and distributing educational brochures across the Kingdom's governorates, broadcasting informational messages over local and university radio stations, and dedicating the upcoming Friday sermon to highlighting the importance of energy conservation. This is in addition to extensive outreach via digital news portals and social media platforms.
Through this initiative, the Ministry seeks to promote positive behaviors related to energy efficiency, thereby contributing to the support of the national economy and the preservation of energy resources for future generations.
