Jordan's exports of jewelry, garments, and fertilizers recorded growth by the end of February, becoming key contributors to the overall rise in national exports.

Exports of garments and related items increased by 2.8% to reach 257 million dinars, compared to 250 million dinars during the same period last year.
According to foreign trade figures released by the Department of Statistics and monitored by Petra, national exports of jewelry rose by 49.5% by the end of February, amounting to 154 million dinars compared to 103 million dinars in the same period last year.
Fertilizer exports also grew by 8.8%, reaching 123 million dinars compared to 113 million dinars for the same period last year.
Meanwhile, exports of raw potash declined by 13.4%, totaling 71 million dinars compared to 82 million dinars for the corresponding period last year. Phosphate exports also dropped by 20.9%, reaching 68 million dinars compared to 86 million dinars during the same timeframe last year.
Additionally, national exports of pharmaceutical preparations decreased by 23.8%, reaching 64 million dinars compared to 84 million dinars in the same period last year.
Overall, Jordan’s national exports rose by 8.1% by the end of February this year, reaching a total value of 1.309 billion dinars compared to 1.211 billion dinars in the same period of the previous year.
It is worth noting that "national exports" refer to goods and services produced within the country and exported abroad, representing products and services created by local companies and institutions and sold to other countries.
