The government has estimated the total cost of energy sector projects at nearly JOD 3 billion. These projects aim to modernize and expand energy infrastructure, increase exploration of national resources, and accelerate the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon energy system, all within public-private partnership initiatives.

According to details, under the infrastructure modernization and expansion initiative, the projects include:
A gas pipeline linking the Risha gas field with the Arab Gas Pipeline, at an estimated cost of JOD 700 million.
Extending natural gas to the cities of Amman and Zarqa, at an estimated cost of JOD 390 million.
The sector also includes the construction of two combined-cycle power plants, each with a capacity of 700 MW, at an estimated total cost of JOD 1 billion.
Under the initiative to expand exploration of national energy resources, the program includes oil exploration in northern Risha and eastern Safawi, with an estimated cost of JOD 50 million.
As part of energy sector coordination, demand management, and planning, the projects include a pumped-storage hydropower facility near Wadi Mujib with a capacity of 450 MW, at an estimated cost of JOD 461 million.
To accelerate the transition to a sustainable and low-carbon energy system, the projects also include:
A 100 MW wind power project, estimated at JOD 100 million.
A 400 MWh battery storage project, estimated at JOD 100 million.
A 200 MW photovoltaic solar power project, with an estimated cost of JOD 140 million.
