Department of Statistics: 2.27 Million Square Meters of Building Area Licensed in Q1

The Department of Statistics (DoS) issued its monthly report on construction activity and building licenses in the Kingdom on Sunday.

According to the report, the total licensed building area reached 848,000 square meters during March 2026, compared to 656,000 square meters during the same period in 2025, marking a significant increase of 29.3%.اضافة اعلان

Furthermore, the total area of buildings licensed during the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 2.273 million square meters, compared to 2.173 million square meters for the corresponding period in 2025, representing a 4.6% increase.

The total number of building licenses issued across the Kingdom reached 6,240 during the first quarter of 2026, up from 5,202 licenses during the same period in 2025, recording a 20% increase. — Petra
