According to the data, the average occupancy rate for hotels in the capital, Amman, stood at 22%, while Petra recorded 18%.
The indicators show a disparity in occupancy rates across the Kingdom's tourist destinations. This comes as tourism continues to be affected by regional conditions and their repercussions on travel and aviation, particularly impacting inbound tourism.
The data indicated that the largest share of hotel demand during this period was concentrated in the Dead Sea region. This area benefited from high domestic demand during the holiday, while other destinations experienced moderate to low occupancy levels—especially those most dependent on international tourism, led by Petra.
