The Director General of Jordan Customs, Major General Ahmad Al-Akalik, affirmed the department’s commitment to Cabinet Decision No. 4307, dated June 28, 2025, which stipulates halting the clearance of vehicles that do not meet the required specifications, effective November 1, 2025.

Al-Akalik called on citizens, traders, and investors to take advantage of the remaining time to complete the clearance of vehicles included in the government’s decision before the mentioned date and to finalize their transactions in order to benefit from the current provisions.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Zarqa Free Zone Customs Center, Colonel Rakkad Al-Issa, had previously decided to extend working hours at the Vehicles Section of the Zarqa Free Zone Customs Center to include the upcoming Fridays, October 24 and 31, 2025, to facilitate the processing of vehicle clearance transactions due to the increased volume of customs operations.
It was also announced that daily working hours have been extended until the completion of all transactions each day through the end of October 2025.
