The exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) surpassed the 6-billion-dinar mark during the first ten months of the current year, recording a 13.2% growth rate, reaffirming the high quality, competitiveness, and strong international presence of Jordanian industries.

According to statistical data from the Chamber, the value of exports certified by ACI’s certificates of origin reached 6.196 billion dinars from the beginning of 2025 until the end of October, compared to 5.473 billion dinars during the same period in 2024.
Eight industrial sub-sectors recorded export increases during the ten-month period, ranging between 66.3% for construction materials and 2.5% for plastics and rubber industries. In contrast, exports declined in two sectors: wood and furniture (down 10.8%) and packaging, paper, cardboard, and office supplies (down 0.4%).
Four countries — India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq — accounted for more than half of the Chamber’s total exports over the period, with a combined value of 3.521 billion dinars, up from 3.355 billion dinars during the same period last year.
Exports to India rose by 24.8%, reaching around 975 million dinars, compared to 780 million dinars last year. Exports to Saudi Arabia increased by 7.4%, totaling 703 million dinars, up from 653 million dinars.
Meanwhile, exports to Iraq decreased by 1.5%, falling to 791 million dinars from 803 million dinars, and exports to the United States declined by 6% to 1.052 billion dinars, compared to 1.119 billion dinars in 2024. Despite the drop, the U.S. remained among the top destinations for Amman’s industrial exports.
The data also showed a remarkable 302% increase in exports to Syria, reaching 226 million dinars, compared to 56 million dinars during the same period last year.
By geographical distribution, exports during the first ten months of 2025 were as follows: Arab countries led with 2.871 billion dinars, followed by non-Arab Asian countries with 1.394 billion dinars, and North America with around 1.093 billion dinars.
Exports to the European Union amounted to 431 million dinars, to non-EU European countries 202 million dinars, to African countries 102 million dinars, to South America 65 million dinars, and to other destinations 39 million dinars.
By sector, the Chamber’s exports were distributed as follows:
Mining industries: 1.456 billion dinars
Chemical and cosmetics industries: 1.095 billion dinars
Engineering, electrical, and IT industries: 1.046 billion dinars
Food, agricultural, and livestock industries: 811 million dinars
Medical and pharmaceutical industries: 610 million dinars
Leather and garment industries: 516 million dinars
Packaging, paper, and office supplies: 288 million dinars
Plastics and rubber industries: 263 million dinars
Construction materials: 156 million dinars
Wood and furniture industries: 16 million dinars
Established in 1962, the Amman Chamber of Industry currently has 8,600 member establishments, employing 159,000 workers with a total capital of around 5 billion dinars.
