Central Command: U.S. Warships Implement Naval Blockade Off the Coast of Iran

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore is conducting blockade enforcement operations in the Arabian Sea.اضافة اعلان

CENTCOM added that sailors and Marines aboard the vessel are participating in these operations, while the destroyer USS Pinckney has been patrolling the waters in support of the same mission.

The statement noted that the blockade has resulted in a near-total paralysis of commercial and economic trade movement to and from Iran via sea.
