Suicides hit five-year high — officials

AMMAN— The number of deaths by suicide in Jordan reached a five-year high last year, according to Khaberni.

The Department of Statistics recorded 186 suicides in 2021, a 10 percent increase over the 169 suicides recorded in 2020. The department said that 2021 saw the highest number of suicides since 2017.اضافة اعلان
