Some 500 children are born in Jordan daily

AMMAN — According to the Civil Status and Passports Department data, the average daily number of births in Jordan last year amounted to 514.3, according to a local news outlet.اضافة اعلان

According to the data, the natality rate in 2021 stood at 18.1, while the mortality rate stood at 6 per 1,000 people.
The gender ratio was 112.5 boys to 100 girls.

Some 105 deaths were recorded per day in 2021.
