AMMAN — The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission on
Tuesday called on Zain Jordan to identify the technical problem behind the
internet interruption which affected several areas for hours
earlier on Tuesday.
Zain revealed that a “small error”
affected some of the main servers at a programming maintenance stage, cutting
off the internet to some areas, according to a statement by the commission.
The commission is currently
coordinating with the company to prevent similar incidents in the future,
according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.
