The SSC stressed that under these memoranda, the universities will provide a 10 percent discount on the students’ hourly fees in addition to the discounts included in the universities’ policies and with an installment period of up to five months.

Retirees can review the relevant university (Amman Arab University, Zarqa Private University, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and Al-Khwarizmi College), provided that they show their personal identity and request the percentage of the discount from the university on the hourly fees owed to their children, according to the SSC’s statement.

The SSC also explained that the memoranda of understanding aim to spread awareness and knowledge of the Security Law provisions among students, by teaching social security as a course included in the academic programs at the university. The course will introduce educational experiences in the Social Security Institution to help a large segment of students in their practical life in the future.
