Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan watched the Jordan national football team’s match against Austria from among the fans at the Roman Theater in downtown Amman on Tuesday morning.

The Prime Minister’s attendance came as part of the nationwide atmosphere of support for the national team, Al-Nashama, during its participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Large crowds of supporters gathered at the venue to follow the match on giant screens set up at the historic site, creating a festive environment as Jordanians rallied behind their team in its historic World Cup debut.
