Key Austerity Measures:
Restructuring Bonuses: Current bonuses in their authorized format will be suspended. They will be reorganized and directed only toward active personnel based on new criteria centered on achievement and productivity.
Wage Cuts: Overtime pay and additional wages across various GAM sectors and units will be reduced by 50%. These allocations will be redistributed according to actual work requirements in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
Committee and Travel Suspension: A complete halt has been placed on bonuses for permanent and temporary committees, as well as task forces. Additionally, all decisions regarding official foreign travel, external assignments, and the hosting of official delegations have been suspended to cut non-essential costs.
Resource Conservation: GAM emphasized strict adherence to rationalizing the consumption of electricity, water, and fuel, implementing measures to eliminate waste and enhance the efficiency of public resources.
Future Framework:
A specialized committee has been formed to study the future basis for granting bonuses and incentives, ensuring fairness and effectiveness in their distribution.
These measures are scheduled to take effect on April 1, 2026, as part of a broader government trend to tighten public spending and improve financial management efficiency.
