AMMAN — Official delegations from around the world have
started arriving in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to attend the highly
anticipated wedding of HRH Crown Prince Hussein to Miss Rajwa Al-Saif.

The wedding is scheduled to take place on Thursday at
Al-Husseiniya Palace.
There has been a flurry of activity at Queen Alia
International Airport in the capital, as military aircraft and official convoys
confirm the arrival of official delegations, according to a report by Sky News
Arabia.
The first amongst the arrivals included the King of
Malaysia, accompanied by his wife and their accompanying delegation. King
Abdullah personally received King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa
Billah Shah of Malaysia at Beit Al Urdun Palace.
The meeting emphasized coordination and consultation between
the two countries on matters of mutual interest.
The President of the Republic of Iraq, Abdul Latif Rashid,
has also arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, to attend the wedding
ceremony, upon the invitation of King Abdullah. This signifies the strong ties
between Jordan and Iraq and highlights the significance of the event in the
region.
Prominent attendees from various countries
Sources close to the Royal Court have revealed that more
than 1,700 distinguished personalities are expected to attend the wedding.
This includes members of the Jordanian Royal family, heads
of state from Arab and foreign countries, and senior officials. Notable
attendees include Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, several
rulers of the UAE, and prominent figures from the Emirati community.
Additionally, the Crown Prince of Oman, the Minister of
Culture, Youth, and Sports of Oman Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of Qatar, and the
Crown Prince of Kuwait are among the guests.
The sources also confirmed the attendance of notable
international figures, including the First Lady of the US, Jill Biden, wife of
President Joe Biden.
King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, along with Queen
Maxima and Princess Catharina-Amalia, the heir to the Dutch throne, will also
be present. Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel,
representing the Swedish monarchy, are expected to attened the occasion.
Princess Hisako of Takamodo of Japan will be attending with
her eldest daughter, Princess Tsuguko. Other guests include Princess Margarita
of Romania and her husband, Prince Radu, and Prince Sebastian, the youngest son
of the Grand Duke and Duchess of Luxembourg.
While not confirmed, there is speculation about the possible
attendance of Prince William and Princess Kate of Wales, considering their
close relationship with the Jordanian royal family.
Wedding festivities and schedule
The signing of the wedding contract will take place
tomorrow, Thursday, at Zahran Palace, marking an important step in the
ceremony.
Following this, the royal procession, known as the Motorcade
Procession, will make its way to Al-Husseiniya Palace. The palace's courtyard
will serve as the venue for guest reception and the wedding ceremonies.
