Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law published in official gazette

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s official gazette, on Thursday, published the amended 2021 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law after it was endorsed by a Royal decree, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra. The law stipulates the exclusion of certain actions as precedents to go into security records against the first-time perpetrators, including abuse, dealing, smuggling, importing, exporting, purchasing, delivering, transporting, producing, manufacturing, storing, or cultivating narcotics and psychotropic substances, or plants from which narcotics or psychotropic substances are produced for abuse purposes.
